Safia Jama is Cave Canem fellow and a graduate of Harvard College. FROM HER POEM “INTERMISSION”:

 

So I decided I wouldn’t be sad my grey wool coat keeps changing colors in the rain./  

So I call it my coat of two colors beside grey clouds./
Almost rainbow.
